Leading Zeroes in OOo Calc

The question was raised on 12/7/04 about how to make leading zeroes appear in front of a number that is bigger than zero: http://www.openoffice.org/servlets/ReadMsg?list=users&msgId=1644362

My thoughts:
In Calc, you can make leading zeros appear in front of numbers greater than 1 also. Select the cell (or style) you want to apply this to. Select *Format > Numbers > User-defined* and in the /Format code/ box enter zero (0) for each digit you want to display.

For instance if you want to type in "00023" and want "00023" to display instead of "23", in the format code box put, "00000" >/tip<
